We are Martin and Daiga, a husband and wife photography and video team based in Nottinghamshire. I am a Nottingham wedding photographer with over a decade of experience, known for editorial-inspired portraits and honest documentary storytelling. Daiga is an award-winning wedding videographer whose work captures not just how a day looked but how it genuinely felt. Together we’ve documented hundreds of weddings together all over the world.
About Me
The Guy Behind The Camera
If you’d asked me twenty years ago what I’d be doing today, I never would’ve said wedding photography. Back then, I was perfectly happy in my corporate IT job. Flying around the world and working with some of the biggest companies on the planet.
Everything changed the day I took my camera to a friend’s wedding. We didn’t really know anyone apart from the couple, so I took a few photos to pass the time. What I didn’t realise then was those photos would change my life and I would discover my true passion. I definitely have the best job in the world and as the old saying goes: “If you find a job you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.”
Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to be recognised within the industry, picking up a few awards and having my work published along the way. I also run a thriving education business, teaching other photographers how to build sustainable careers. And when I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me recording new episodes for my podcast, chatting all things photography, creativity and business.
Meet Daiga
The Ying to my Yang
My partner in life, Daiga is without a doubt the most talented videographer I’ve worked with and no I am not saying that just because she’s my wife and I have to! I genuinely believe it!
Her ability to tell stories through her films blew me away, right from her first wedding. It was clear she had the creative gene at heart.
Together we’ve been together for over 17 years and married for 13. Most days I wonder how I got so lucky, other days I wonder how she got so lucky! 🙂

My trusted second photographer. If you need a second photographer then Mel’s your gal! She’s fun, awesome at capturing those unscripted moments and utterly passionate about weddings! She’s also engaged herself and planning her own big day!

Our motto has always been work hard play hard and it’s a philosophy Daiga and I bring to every wedding we photograph. We are passionate about delivering an incredible customer experience, along with beautiful images and videothat tell the story of your day.
But that doesn’t mean we’ll be quietly lurking in the shadows clicking away like distant observers. We believe the best moments happen when people feel completely at ease and that starts with us feeling like part of the wedding.
That’s why when we show up to your wedding we’re not just the photographer and/or videographer. We’re guests with cameras. We laugh with your mates, chat to your nan and party with you on the dancefloor! That connection and trust is what lets us capture the real magic. Those honest unfiltered moments that make your day yours.
Meet Luke & Leia
Our Trainees
Our ragdoll kittens, Luke & Leia joined the Cheung household back in 2024 and bring with them chaos and cuddles. They love nothing more than lying on our desks as we edit. They’ve both got the calmest personalities I’ve seen in cats. Nothing bothers them and their sole objectives in life is to relax and sleep! I can respect that!
